Babybug!

I think every writer wants to see his or her name in print, and I’m no exception. I’ve been published in several magazines, but some are definitely… cuter than others are.

I’m so pleased with the artwork that Carus Publishing put with this story — I think it’s absolutely perfect.

Why I Wrote for Babybug Magazine

When my husband was in Afghanistan, I was home with a 3-month-old son and two dogs. (I won’t even talk about how jealous I was that he was in Afghanistan without me, because I actually met him in Iraq in 2007 and had gone on two deployments with him.)

I would talk and talk to my son, David, spinning these silly little stories. If he kicked and laughed, I knew they were good — and he really kicked and smiled when I told him this one.
