About Yellow Springs

Yellow Springs, a quaint and quiet village in Greene County, is a wonderful place to live. Antioch College and Antioch University Midwest are located here, and since it was founded in 1825, it’s never lost its small-town charm or sense of community.

As one of the final stops on the Underground Railroad and home to the famous Conway Colony, Yellow Springs is now home to about 3,500 people. The Glen Helen Nature Preserve sits on the eastern border of the village, which is located on both sides of Highway 68 about 11 miles east of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and 18.7 miles from Dayton.
